Figuring Out Buyer Behavior No.2

After interviewing with multiple people, some of the people I spoke with loved the idea of having an app in-case of an emergency, some thought it was unnecessary because you can just call 911 if you ever needed to. I explained that the difference between this and calling 911 would be that it’s the same concept of the blue emergency light, you just click the button and it tracks you, it gets there as soon as possible and there is no need to speak with anyone on the phone.  I believe the quality of this app matters, and so do the people I spoke with. It needs to be convenient and not take up a lot of time to access it. This would be a free app and I believe this would make more students want to have the app. Because mostly every student has a smartphone, having access to this app would be extremely easy. All you have to do is download it. If one friend has it, I think it will encourage more friends to have it. I think many students would think this is a good idea because it doesn’t waste your money and it would be another safety precaution in-case you are ever in a situation where it is needed. After explaining this to the students I interviewed, they would really be interested in this app and would definitely download it because of how easy and smart the concept is. Although students do not feel as if they need it, they would still download it to have incase.

  1. Hi Jordyn, I think that this is a great idea and I agree with the concept of it. I don't know if you have researched it but I was wondering what would happen if the person was in a bad situation? I am assuming that the app would contact the authorities. So would you have to get certain permits or partnerships in order to connect to the app to the authorities? I think you did you did a good job, these are just some questions I would have asked if you were have to interview me.
