Growing your social capital

I have found three different people to talk about my ideas. The first person I came in contact with, was another student from the University of Florida who falls in the market expert category. After meeting with her, when she asked to interview me for one of her classes I asked if she can talk to me about my ideas in return. I told her about my idea and she had the same idea in mind. She would be considered an expert in this industry because she understands the blue lights and why they are so important to college students. She agrees that safety is important especially at night and explained how she would love to help me with the app and work together. Second, I spoke to an adult that started up his own company and also has children in college, he is under the domain expert category. This app offers an additional safety feature to anyone who has it especially students who are walking through campus. I think everyone would like this idea, including students, faculty and parents. I believe safety is very important especially with things that occur on college campuses when you are found in a situation alone. You never know the situation that w...

Elevator pitch No. 2

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gz8WCWktF_M This is my elevator pitch and I think I have received beneficial feedback based on previous conversations and interviews. Many people agree with the app I have chosen to create and believe that it could be a good idea. One question that I get asked a lot is how would the police be able to trace back to it and I explained that it would work just like find my friends or other apps to help locate a smart phone.
