Bug List

BUG LIST:

1.Not cleaning/ putting dirty dishes in the dishwasher

-  The dishes are left for someone else to clean up after you

2.  Chewing loudly/ eating with your mouth open in front of others

- distracting to others, grosses people out

3. When people don’t stand on one side of the escalator

- For those who don’t want to wait on the escalator, they can’t get around if people are standing on both sides of the escalator

4. Not making a right on red, when you are allowed to

- if it is safe, and allowed to do so it makes the other cars behind you wait longer than they have to

5. Finishing food and then putting that box of empty food back in the pantry

- Gets one excited that there is more of the food left, takes up space, someone else would have to clean up after you

6. Not holding the door for people behind you

- Respectful thing to do for someone else, the person behind you then also has to open the same door

7. Walking past someone and giving a dirty look

- Makes one feel hurt and not know why the look was given

8. Getting a text “hi I have a question” and never gets a follow up

-  makes people anxious because they don’t know what the question is going to be about

9. No outlets in an area that you study in

- If you have to get up and charge your computer as you are using it, it’s a big inconvenience and wastes time

10. Waiters not writing down your order

- Many times’ the order gets messed up or something is forgotten

11. Talking to someone while in a movie theater

- Distracts the people around you

12. Getting told the wait is less than the actual waiting time at a restaurant

-  puts you behind on schedule for the rest of the day and makes it seem like you will be eating sooner than you actually are

13. As you are in the middle of the conversation, looking at your phone

- Rude, makes one feel that the conversation is unnecessary

14. Humming in a quiet area

- Distracting to people around you

15. While food shopping, not putting an item back in the correct place

- Makes the staff members have more work to do while cleaning up, certain foods can go bad

16. Having a specific time to meet someone, and then showing up late to a meeting

-  In a professional setting, it shows that you are irresponsible also makes it inconvenient to the person waiting for you

17. Texting as you are walking

- If there is a person behind you it slows them down, walking into other people or an object

18. Leaving the reading light on as you are on an airplane

- Distracts the people sitting next to you, if one is trying to sleep they can’t because the light is bright enough for the whole row

19.Chipping a nail after a manicure

- You don’t get a manicure that often, they are expensive and then have to walk around with a chipped nail until the next time you get a manicure

20. Not looking someone in the eye as you are in the middle of a conversation

-Maintaining good eye contact makes the conversation more comforting

         I thought this was an overall difficult challenge. It took a while to think of many things that actually bother me. It was difficult to think of things off the top of my head specifically, rather I thought about things that bother people in general. After brainstorming for a while, I realized there are many things that “Bug” me.
